Butterscotch Brownies Recipe

I love these bars and they’re so easy to make.  I don’t even use a mixer, just stir by hand.

You’ll need butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour, salt, baking powder, coconut, and chocolate chips.

Grease a 9×13 pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees

Melt 10 2/3 Tbsp. butter (1 1/3 stick)

Add:

2 cups brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

Mix well

Add:

1 1/2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

Stir well.

Measure out 12 oz. of chocolate chips and 1 cup coconut.

Add chocolate chips and coconut to the batter.

Mix.

Spread into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
