So I went hunting for this little book tonight at Walgreens, because I’ve heard it has some great Walgreens Instant Value Coupons (IVC) in it. I found it by the coloring books in the toy section and bought 2. This coupons don’t expire until 3/30/2010 and are only good off regular retail price. Remember these coupons can be used with manufacturer coupons and always give your manufacturer coupons 1st, then your Walgreens coupons.
I’m pretty new to Walgreens shopping and learned a couple new things this week. When you use a Walgreens coupon, you don’t have to give it to the cashier. You can use them over and over until they expire. I tried this for the 1st time tonight. I just told the cashier the last 4 digits of the UPC code and off came the coupon value.
The 2nd thing I learned is that if you buy more than one product indicated on the coupon it will deduct the coupon price from each product that meets the specification. Eg. you have a $2 IVC for Huggies wipes and you buy 2 tubs of wipes in your transaction. You read the code to the cashier and $4 subtracts from your total ($2 for each tub).
